How to Make Amla Oil At Home

Making your own homemade Amla Oil will take one week to a month. The method that follows will make about a pint of oil.

Ingredients:

1. 1/2 Cup Dried Amla Powder
2. 1 Pint Natural Oil (100% Extra Virgin Coconut Or Almond Oil Is Ideal)
3. Glass Jar With Lid
4. Bowl
5. Strainer Lined With Cheesecloth Or A Coffee Filter
6. Funnel
7. Jars Or Containers For Storage

Method:

Ø      Measure 1/2 cup of dried Amla Powder. Open a glass jar and pour in the powder.

Ø      Add a pint of natural oil to the powder in the jar. Replace the lid on the jar. Shake the jar gently to mix the powder throughout the oil.

Ø      Place the closed jar in a sunny window. Leave the jar for a minimum of 7 days, although 10 to 30 days will yield a stronger infusion. Shake the jar lightly every three days, and put it back in the window while the oil is being infused with the Amla Powder.

Ø      Take the jar of infused oil from the window. Place a bowl on a flat surface and put a strainer lined with a cheesecloth or coffee filter over it. Pour the contents of the jar into the lined strainer, allowing the filtered oil to be collected in the bowl below.

Ø      Discard the cheesecloth or filter containing the remnants of the herbal powder. The reserved oil collected in the bowl should be as clear as possible.

Ø      Use a funnel to add portions of the oil to one or more additional jars or containers for storage and later use.

1. Water – 2 Jug
2. Fresh Curry Leaves – 1 Bunch
3. Joot Ki Bori – Size Of Handkerchief
4. Kala Pathar – 1 Small Piece
5. Olive Oil – ½ Kg
6. Fenugreek Seeds – 2 Tsp
7. Black Pepper – 8 Pieces
8. Onion Paste – 2 Tsp
9. Garlic Paste – 2 Tsp
10. Ginger Paste – 2 Tsp
11. Betamethasone Cream 10 Grams 

METHOD:

Boil a bunch of fresh curry leaves in approx. 2 jugs of water. Take out boiled curry leaves out of water. Then add ½ kg olive oil with boiled curry leaves and keep boiling with olive oil. Then add Fenugreek Seeds, Crushed Kala Pathar, Black Pepper, Onion Paste, Ginger, Garlic Paste And Burned Joot Cloth, add with all boiling ingredients. Then mash all the ingredients with the help of wooden spoon. Keep boiling until colour changes to orange. Turn off the cooking flame. Then mash all the ingredients to tiny particles. When boiling temperature goes down or no steam is visible, add Betamethasone Cream. Pour prepared oil in glass bottle and leave 4-5 days in sunlight then apply 4 times a week. Wash your hair with homemade shampoo. This hair good for premature greying, Long hair growth, Hair fall protection, split end and Anti Dandruff.
