There are many causes of dark patches on face such as sun exposure, stress, hormonal changes during pregnancy, lack of nourishment, lack of skin care, illness or allergy and chemical based skin care products. As you know that chemical based products are also responsible for dark patches therefore, try to go for natural ingredients. Here are some remedies and tips on how to remove or lighten the dark patches on face.
TIPS AND TREATMENTS:
- Before going to bed at night, rub coconut oil on the affected area. Wash your skin in the morning. Use this remedy on a daily basis for at least 15 days.
- Apply carrot juice on patches to fade their appearance. Use this remedy for 2 to 3 weeks.
- Lemon juice is a good source of skin lightening properties. Apply lemon juice on the patches.
- Apply mint juice on the patches.
- Grate 2-3 carrots after peeling them. Boil these grated carrots in water, till the water dries off. Apply mashed carrot on affected area for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Make a mixture by combining 2 tablespoons dried orange peel powder with 2 tablespoons curd. Apply it all to your skin. Let it dry and then wash thoroughly with cold water.
- Cucumber and lime juice mixture is also effective in the treatment of dark patches on face.
- Make a mixture by combining equal amounts of lime juice + tomato juice. Apply it on the dark patches. Leave it overnight and wash off with lukewarm water.
